This is Maurice Courchesne; a guy with a bright smile and a can-do attitude.He has dedicated more than two decades to making the Caldwell Family Centre a special place.And this photo says it all!Maurice is the master of food rescue. Nothing goes to the landfill if he is around. Whatever we can’t accommodate (store or transform in a timely manner), he brings to other nonprofits who can.On this day he is at Amazon.ca rescuing dog food, and laundry detergent; both items in high demand at our food bank.Without Maurice’s ingenuity and talent for building long-term relationships, we would not be able to offer those in need two food bank orders each month, or consistently provide breakfast and lunch five days every week. ...
