Notice: As of November 15, 2021 all volunteers working onsite at the Caldwell Family Centre are required to have two doses of a Health Canada or World Health Organization recognized COVID-19 vaccine.

The Caldwell Family Centre is currently seeking a qualified volunteer to assume the role of Governance leader on the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will share the organization’s mission, vision and values, and have the skill set, expertise, and experience necessary to help guide the organization to continued success.  For a full list of the duties and responsibilities click here.

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Caldwell Family Centre! We are seeking interested and enthusiastic individuals to volunteer in the areas listed below the form. We welcome all people to join our volunteer team. Before you sign up, check out our volunteer criteria:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Able to commit to 2 volunteer shifts per month (~3hr/shift) for a minimum of 6 months
  • Have a non-judgmental and welcoming attitude
  • Comfortable wearing a mask during your shift (exceptions made for medical needs)

If you are a student, or are currently looking for employment, you will:

  • gain workplace experience, enhancing your job prospects
  • demonstrate motivation, commitment, empathy and a desire to help others; all valuable assets many employers consider when making a hiring decision
  • increase personal and profession connections through networking
  • experience working in a team environment, which many employers consider an asset
